iPhone gaming!
Yea for getting carpal tunnel playing on your phone! With the iPhone 2.0 update last week, so came a wealth of apps. I naturally went right for the (free) game category.
JirboBreak : Super Breakout! It's fun and a nice example of how sensitive the iPhone's touch is. I'm trying more of the Jirbo Inc games, they're all fun.
TapTap Revenge : DDR! Touch the symbols as they come down, to the beat.
Cube Runner : Fly a plane through a asteroid field (bunch of blocks) using the accelerometer, tilting the iPhone. Very cool.
Aurora Feint : For free, holy crap this is nice. It's a Tetris/Bust-a-Move/you get it "mining" game. After getting enough blocks destroyed, you "level up" and can get new skills. The graphics are amazing for a free game. I haven't figured out yet how to acquire "tools" and I don't see any difference to the game play after completing blueprints and spellbooks. The blocks all fall "down" when you turn your phone, so you'll be doing that a LOT. My poor wrist.
